  1. Things I learned at a Snow Patrol concert

    • Music really does bring people together
    • Being able to play the first few chords of a song and have the entire audience sing the lyrics must be a whole other level of rock stardom
    • The band feeds off the energy of the crowd and vice versa. The concert will only be as good as the audience listening¬†
    • Snow Patrol frontman, Gary Lightbody, is a really funny guy.
    • Ed Sheeran is an up-and-coming artist from the UK and was actually pretty great considering he was opening for a band as big as Snow Patrol
    • If you have a British accent, you don’t need much else to be attractive
    • My ears are still ringing from sitting too close to the speakers
    • Chasing Cars is still my favorite song

    Memorable Quotes:

"If you’re happy, tell that to your face" — Gary Lightbody, to a fan who looked sad

"Less screaming, more singing" — Ed Sheeran

"I texted my mom that the band’s coming out now and she still called me three times during the show and texted me 12 times asking me where I am!" — teen exiting concert hall
